FAQ

A virtual race is a race that can be ran anytime and anywhere. They offer runners and walkers a way to earn amazing custom designed medals and support charities for a 5k, 10k, half marathon or doggy dash. The best part is you get to choose when and where to fit your schedule. You can participate in these races anytime day or night during the race period and anywhere near home or on vacation. Either you can run outdoors on roads, at a park, or on a trail or indoors on a treadmill. You can decide to finish all miles at once or break them up over any number of days.

First, register for the race in which you would like to participate. Next, run your chosen miles at a time and place of your choosing during the race period. You will receive your medal in the mail according to the expected ship date listed on the race information page. You can also submit your race photos, results and comments on our Facebook event page.

Participating in our virtual races not only earns you an amazing medal but also raises money for charity. You get to decide the route and time – no worrying about waking up at 4am to eat and be at the starting line by 7am. There are no travel expenses and no struggle to find a parking space near the start line. You also don’t have to wait in long lines just to use a port-a-potty. Virtual races are a great way to be active and stay healthy. In addition, they can help you keep your training on track for your next scheduled live race.

Anyone can participate in a virtual race. Runners and walkers of all ages can register for one of our races. You can run individually or in a group. If you have a friend that lives in a different location, invite them to run at the same time as you. You can even take your dog along and make it a doggy dash.

No, you can break the miles up over as many days as you’d like as long as they are all completed within the race time period.

All medals are shipped according to the expected ship date listed on the race information page. Check your chosen race’s registration page for the medal ship date.

We do not require you to submit your results. When you register for one of our virtual races, you are on the honor system to complete all the miles in the stated time period to earn your finisher’s medal. However, we encourage you to share your race photos, results and comments on our Facebook event page.
